Thank you for checking out our project! Accelerate is the ultimate guide to accelerator programs. Our goal is for Accelerate to become the go-to-source for information on accelerators, incubators and their graduates. We hope to launch an updated version of the book once a year, with this being the first book in the series.
Over the past 7 months we have interviewed more than 150 founders that have taken their company through an accelerator program, created an accelerator program or successfully raised funding. Some of the accelerator programs who's graduates feature in Accelerate from America are Y combinator, TechStars, 500 Startups, Angel Pad, Launchpad LA and DreamIt. While internationally, we feature startups from programs like SpringBoard in London England (now TechStars London), StartUpBootCamp and RockStart in Amsterdam, Startup Sauna in Finland, FounderFund in Canada, StartMate in Australia, China Accelerator in Dalian China, and iAccelerate in India.
In the book, the founders discuss their accelerator experiences, fundraising, starting a company, generating early users, marketing strategies, product sourcing and many other interesting topics. We also feature a breakdown of more than 135 accelerator programs from around the world along with a mix of illustrations and infographics that highlight information on the startup and accelerator environment.
Excess funds raised through Accelerate, will be used to support the continued development of our own startup company called VineUp. At VineUp we are helping to solve the problems faced by recent graduates searching for employment. We have been referred to as LinkedIn for students ;)
Luke
PS: If we fail to hit our fundraising goal, everyone that pledges in rewards for the book before March 12th, will receive the eBook for FREE.
